This project explores the balance between architectural drama and everyday comfort within a contemporary double-height home. Designed to maximise volume, light, and flow, the interior combines strong structural elements with warm, tactile finishes to create a space that feels both refined and inviting.

A sculptural mezzanine level defines the layout, introducing a bold horizontal line while maintaining visual openness throughout the living space. Below, generous seating and layered textures soften the scale, encouraging relaxed, sociable living. The open-plan kitchen and dining area form the heart of the home, where a statement black marble island, warm oak cabinetry, and subtle brass detailing bring depth and elegance to a highly functional space.

Natural materials, considered lighting, and a calm, earthy palette run throughout the home, creating continuity between levels. Bedrooms and private areas shift towards a quieter mood, offering a sense of retreat while remaining connected to the architecture and city views beyond.
